After a good breakfast, the big group met at the Germersheim station where 6 wellknown Group members joined us. We left with some delay (as expected) and speeded with more than 20km/h direction Rastatt. We stopped at a nice place at the Rhine where a lovely photo of the group was made but discovered only then that 4 cyclists were missing, So new photo of the group taken! A nice excersize of teambuilding eas organised for passing the Hafentorsperre.
With our last picnic from Bryan the last food disappeared and we continued our path which was quite muddy and so the colour of our clothes, bikes and shoes disappeared as well.
We regret a bit that this is the last full day of the Helsinki-Strasbourg project which was and still is a great experience but our knees will be happy. We look forward to the last day of arrival – leaving at 7 a.m.! – for which we decorated our bikes now.
But now first of course meeting in Biergarten.
